Collier High School offers a specialized co-educational opportunity for over 150 high school students each year. State required academic classes, and college and career preparation courses offer students a well-rounded education which prepares them, with confidence, for the job market or the pursuit of higher education. Collier High School's counseling program guides and supports the students through individual, group and family counseling.

MINI-REVIEW
Collier is a wonderful school staffed by dedicated and caring professionals. It has a nice large campus with two separate buildings each located on one side of the campus. Watching students scurry across campus between classes, makes it almost feels like a small college. It offers sports, clubs and many varied activities. A very mainstream experience in a nurturing and supervised setting.

Our Mission

Parents simply want their children to live up to their full potential and as adults, be able to live independent and fruitful lives. We work on behalf of these extraordinary parents and children and the inspirational lives they lead. We promote the active and informed participation of families with special needs children in shaping, implementing and evaluating public policy that affects them. Our goal is to protect families and advocates who are caretakers by arming them with valuable resources and information that will provide them with a strong foundation of support and dedicated professionals.

In addition to our magazine, we want to bring industry professionals to meet you, the parents, at our community workshops. Our comprehensive website, now under construction, will provide parents with a forum to both chat with other parents and with various industry professionals. Our "Make A Friend" youth center will provide a safe haven for children and their parents.

We strive to offer parents something that will make all the difference, a glimmer of hope. For parents who are fatigued, exhausted, dejected and who fight endlessly for their kids... For parents who are sleep deprived and beaten down, we say that you are not alone, you can do it and we want you to have hope. With a plan, comes hope and with hope a plan. SUCCESSFUL CHILD is here to help you make that plan and have some hope.
